JURASSIC Program at Bowe School

JURASSIC stands for Join Us Right AfterSchool for STEAM Infused Clubs.

The JURASSIC Program at Bowe School is our new 21st Century Community Learning Center Afterschool Program for 4th through 6th graders and we are happy to announce that the afterschool program is free to all students, each day, for 3 hours, every day school is in session.  Currently the program runs from 2:00pm-5:00pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday in person at Bowe School.  Wednesday programming will be offered virtually or off site occasionally in the community.

School is dismissing at 12:30pm each day on the hybrid schedule with some additional virtual learning continuing in the afternoon, so if you would like your child to attend from 12:30-2:00pm (have lunch and get additional virtual learning support, we can provide that for all of our families at a rate of only $15 for the two days ($7.50 per day) after their live cohort day. Fees may be waived for this 12:30-2:00pm period for families who request it so that students can seamlessly attend the JURASSIC Program from 12:30-5:00pm.

On the days your child is NOT in school, we can provide full day virtual support, and then free afterschool.  Virtual learning day is from 7:45am to 2:00pm, and then our free afterschool program is from 2:00-5:00pm  The fee for these virtual learning days is just $40 for the two days ($20 per day).

If you'd like to enroll your child with us for the entire 4 days, to provide virtual learning support AND afterschool care in our JURASSIC 21 CCLC program, you will only pay for the the virtual learning support and that fee is $55 per week.  There is a $50 registration fee for the virtual learning support program.  No registration fee for the 2:00-5:00pm 21CCLC program.

We will provide 1:10 supervision, all of the necessary school supplies, breakfast, (school provides lunch or you can pack) and a healthy afternoon snack.  Our JURASSIC program is completely funded and anything that happens afterschool is free.  Our partners are the Glassboro School District, the Fossil Park at Rowan University, the Bullock Garden Project, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and the Southwest Council.
